1913-1918 Single F-Head – — Harley-Davidson Engine Print
This handmade drawing depicts Harley-Davidson’s 1913 Single F-Head engine — a mechanically refined version of the company’s early inlet-over-exhaust design. Displacing 35 cu in (≈565 cc) and producing around 4 horsepower, it was compact, dependable, and popular among riders who preferred the lighter, simpler single-cylinder machines. By 1913, the Single had matured into a well-balanced motorcycle engine featuring improved valve control and stronger lubrication — the last generation before Harley’s production focus shifted toward V-Twins.
It remains a symbol of the brand’s formative years, where craftsmanship and experimentation defined every detail.
Each 1913 Single F-head print is part of a collector’s series celebrating Harley-Davidson engines across more than a century of history. Perfect for enthusiasts, workshops, or anyone who values vintage engineering and design.
